The Editorial Club embarked upon its journey two years ago. It was a challenging job ahead: getting the students to learn the principles of reporting and editing, to sift facts from the plethora of knowledge that one tends to collect while reporting and finally structuring that information such that it not only attracts the reader’s attention but is lucid, simple reading.
The basic aim of the club is to instill in the students the following credentials: |

- Knowledge of publishing software such as MS Publisher and
Quark Xpress
- Page Setting
- Publication of quarterly newsletter
- Compilation of the annual magazine

The students are required to perform the following tasks:
- Collect data for the quarterly newsletter
Report any major event within the school premises or outside
- Edit copies
- Set pages
- Coordinate with the photography club
- Collect material for the annual magazine
- Design and collate the annual magazine
- Make field trips for reporting and feature writing
