SelaQui World School started off as a purely residential school in 2001, and continues to grow year after year.

In 2009, we have decided to introduce a Day Boarding facility for the residents of Dehradun and nearby areas. This is done in an effort to provide our local residents with the same quality educational experience that our boarders have been enjoying for all this while.

In today’s fast paced society, we want everything for our children. We want them to be good in studies, apt at playing sports, and be creative too. We, as parents, are also pushing ourselves to provide the best for our children. However, sometimes, our dreams remain dreams because of unavailability of any such facility that converts them into reality. There aren’t too many options available where your child can develop and bloom in all spheres under one roof. In metro and non-metro cities, the avenues are so far off that availing all facilities becomes impossible in a 24 hour span, and is also quite unaffordable.

SelaQui World School has an answer to this dilemma. We have introduced a world class Day Boarding facility in our school starting from April 2009. This facility addresses all of the above concerns and provides the parents with one place where all their dreams and aspirations related to their children can be met. Being just outside the city limits, our campus is not in the midst of a chaotic environment, yet not too far to commute. All the facilities we offer are also quite affordable, making much more economic sense than sending your child to different tuition classes, activity centers and games fields.

This facility provides the best of both worlds for the student. The child gets to participate in an engaging, multimedia class, where learning is at its peak. The classes are interactive in nature and much different from the mundane classes of most other schools. Apart from academics, the child also participates in several personality building activities, be it in the creative fields, or on stage. There is also ample opportunity for the child to participate in games, using international standard equipment and resources. At the end of the day, there are extra classes and prep time to complete the homework, so that when your child reaches home, he/ she can spend quality time with you, and not be running around for tuitions or music lessons. The child also gets to share life experiences with the boarders, and learns to be self reliant and responsible. There is added peace of mind that your child is in a safe and secure environment, and is not left unattended.

Another unique opportunity that we bring to Dehradun residents is the chance to avail International Education right at their doorstep. The International Baccalaureate is a Geneva based body that offers the Primary Year Program (PYP), the Middle Year Program (MYP), and the Diploma Program (DP). Most of the IB schools in India are located in the metro cities, and Dehradun residents have to venture out if they want to get international exposure. Now, the IB Diploma is available to Dehradun residents at SelaQui World School, the first school in the northern hills to get IB accreditation. Our IB graduates now spawn several countries and are making us proud everywhere. We also provide placement services where our passing out students can apply to colleges and be accepted. Several of our students have also secured scholarships in several Canadian and American universities of repute.
